It charges with USB but, once charged, it is being used wirelessly for several days. It will not work while charging. It won’t even feel hot while charging. Charge it, unplug it, and then use it.
It’s a good habit to charge after each use, so it’s always ready when you need it. I used to use it after 2-3 days after charging and it worked just fine.
It’s perfect for travels as you can find a USB charges in every country.
It might as no powerful as your regular home straightener but it fixes the hair “on the go”.
It has been used on couple trips by me, passed all TSAs, i traveled with it even to Russia with no problems but, please, check with your airlines and the countries of your destination.
The iron is in a very good condition, comes in its original box. The cord is about 30” long and it has been tackled on the back of the box under the iron.
