Originally Miss Dior referred to a perfume made by Christian Dior, but by the early 1960s Christian Dior launched a line of ready to wear hats geared more to attracting the younger set using the Miss Dior label. These lovely hats were designed by Christian Dior and sold by the House of Dior. This beautiful and elegantly styled black fur pillbox style 60s hat offered for sale was made under the Miss Dior label and created by Christian Dior. The body of the hat was made in Italy by Helios. it’s a mighty realistic faux leather material. Either way, it is a chic addition to a simple yet extremely stylish hat. The inner hat is not lined but it does have an inner black Petersham sweat band. This lovely vintage Miss Dior hat created by Christian Dior is a fine example of 60s fashion made by one of the premier designers in fashion history.
