In 1986 I wrote to the Mets Lenny Dykstra and he was not available. The Public relations person sent me this postcard of the team with a little note. Some Hall of Famers are in the picture from this crazy year in the World Series! Boston was the better team on paper but the Mets were the victors! Isn’t baseball crazy. Players featured are Daryl Strawberry, Dwight Gooden, Gary Carter, Keith Hernandez, George Foster, Ray Knight, Mookie Wilson, Davey Johnson, Buddy Harrelson, Mel Stottlemyre, Jesse Orozco, Ron Darling, Randy Myers, Kevin Mitchell,, etc. it will be sent in a plastic saver securely! Great for New York Mets fans & Mets lovers out there! I was a kid of the 80s and this was a great year for all Mets fans!
